If you purchase RacewayIQ Pro or another paid feature, payment processing may be handled by Stripe or another third-party payment processor.

RacewayIQ does not intentionally store full credit card numbers or card security codes.

We may receive and store limited payment-related information, such as:

plan type;
renewal date;
cancellation date;
invoice status;

last four digits of a payment card, if provided by the payment processor;

Guest users may use certain standalone calculators without creating an account. Free account users may have limited export or account features. RacewayIQ Pro may be required for saved calculation history, saved workflow data, saved schedules, favorites, renamed calculations, guided workflows, Schedule function features, and exports of saved Pro data.

D. Reports and PDF Exports

When you generate, download, save, or export a report, we may process or store information included in or related to that report, including:

calculation inputs;
calculation results;

prepared-by field;

selected code edition or reference settings;
report metadata;

file-generation event.

However, users should avoid entering confidential, proprietary, restricted, export-controlled, classified, security-sensitive, or highly sensitive information unless they are authorized to do so and accept the risks of using an online service.

I. Security, Fraud, and Abuse Information

We may collect information needed to protect the Service, users, and RacewayIQ, including:

Do not enter the following into calculators, reports, project names, notes, schedules, support messages, or other free-text fields unless absolutely necessary and you are authorized to do so:

full payment card numbers;

RacewayIQ is an electrical productivity and design-assistance tool. It is not intended to store highly sensitive personal information, confidential bid information, classified information, protected health information, or restricted government information.

5. Calculation and Project Data

Many standalone calculator functions are intended to run locally in your browser where reasonably possible.

However, information may be transmitted to or processed by RacewayIQ or its service providers when:

you create an account;

you save a calculation;
you save workflow data;
you save a schedule;
you use RacewayIQ Pro;
you use a beta feature;
you generate or export a report;
you sync data between sessions or devices;
you request support;

an error or crash is logged;

the Service otherwise requires server-side processing.

If you save a calculation, workflow, or schedule while signed in with the required access, the input values, selected options, timestamps, generated summaries, report metadata, favorites, user-assigned names, and related workflow data may be stored with your account so they can be restored later.

You are solely responsible for determining whether you are authorized to enter project, customer, employer, contractor, design, estimate, schedule, or other information into the Service.

6. Beta Feature Data

Certain features may be identified as "Beta," "Preview," "Experimental," "Testing," or similar. This includes, without limitation, the Schedule function and related saved schedule tools.

When you use beta features, we may collect additional usage, diagnostic, error, workflow, and feedback information to test, troubleshoot, secure, and improve those features.

Beta feature data may include:

feature usage events;
workflow steps;
save events;
export events;
error events;
schedule metadata;
diagnostic logs;
support messages;
user feedback.

Beta features may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

7. RacewayIQ Pro Data

RacewayIQ Pro may allow users to save calculations, workflow data, schedules, project-related information, favorites, renamed calculations, exports, and related data.

Saved Pro data is available only while you have active Pro access or cancelled-but-paid-through-current-period Pro access.

If Pro access ends, saved Pro data may enter a locked retention period. During the locked retention period, saved Pro data may be retained but inaccessible unless Pro is reactivated.

The current locked retention period is seven (7) days after Pro access ends, unless RacewayIQ states otherwise.

If Pro is not reactivated before the retention deadline, saved Pro calculations, workflow data, saved schedules, Pro history, favorites, names, and related Pro data may be permanently deleted.

Reactivating Pro during the locked retention period may restore access to retained saved Pro data. Reactivating after deletion starts a new Pro subscription and does not restore data that has already been permanently deleted.

You are solely responsible for maintaining your own copies of important reports, PDFs, exports, calculations, schedules, project records, and other information.

RacewayIQ does not guarantee permanent storage of saved calculations, reports, schedules, projects, workflows, exports, or account data.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies.

A. Strictly Necessary Technologies

These are used to operate the Service, authenticate users, protect account pages, process subscriptions, provide security, and prevent fraud.

Without these technologies, certain parts of the Service may not work.

B. Functional Technologies

These are used to remember settings, preferences, calculator choices, display options, and user interface preferences.

C. Analytics and Performance Technologies

These are used to understand how users interact with the Service, measure performance, identify errors, improve features, and make the Service easier to use.

RacewayIQ may use session replay, heatmap, screen recording, click-tracking, performance monitoring, crash reporting, or diagnostic tools to understand usability problems, troubleshoot errors, improve the Service, and detect abuse.

If used, these tools should be configured to avoid intentionally capturing sensitive user-entered engineering content, payment card information, passwords, or confidential information. However, users should avoid entering sensitive or confidential information into the Service unless necessary and authorized.

We may share information with service providers and third parties that help us operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.

Some privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly, and certain analytics, advertising, or marketing technologies may be considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under those laws. If RacewayIQ uses such technologies in a way that triggers legal opt-out rights, we will provide required notices and choices where required by law.

15. No Use of User Engineering Content for Third-Party AI Training

RacewayIQ does not intentionally sell, rent, or disclose user-entered calculation data, saved Pro data, project information, workflow data, or schedule data for third-party artificial intelligence training.

RacewayIQ may use aggregated, de-identified, or non-identifying usage information to improve the Service, troubleshoot features, understand product usage, and develop new features.

RacewayIQ may use service providers that apply automated systems for security, fraud prevention, spam detection, analytics, performance monitoring, infrastructure, or payment processing.

16. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

provide the Service;

provide saved Pro data;

We do not guarantee that any data will be stored permanently or recoverable after deletion, account closure, subscription cancellation, system failure, or expiration of a retention period.

deleting saved schedules where available;
